1. Scope and controller
This notice describes the personal information processed when adults use SaveHawk’s mobile applications, websites, support channels, and related services.
The intended controller is Luis Molina, located in New York City, New York, United States. A complete mailing address must be published before this notice becomes effective. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to privacy@savehawk.app.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on the released features and how you use them, SaveHawk may process:
- Account and identity data, such as email address, display name, authentication identifier, and account status.
- Images and related input that you submit for analysis, plus source, language, device, and request metadata.
- Analysis results, token or quota state, preferences, saved settings, and interactions with product features.
- Subscription, transaction, entitlement, and billing-status data received from payment or app-store providers. SaveHawk should not receive full payment-card numbers.
- Device tokens, notification choices, support communications, privacy requests, security records, and diagnostic logs.
- Affiliate-link interactions and purchase-attribution data when clearly disclosed links are used.
- Website language preference stored on your device. The website does not use nonessential analytics or advertising tracking at launch.
3. Why information is used
Where required, processing is based on performing a contract, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, or consent. The applicable basis depends on the activity and your location.
- Provide, authenticate, operate, troubleshoot, and secure the service.
- Process submitted images and produce requested AI-assisted analysis.
- Manage quotas, subscriptions, entitlements, communications, and support.
- Remember settings, improve accessibility, and localize the experience.
- Detect abuse, protect users and the service, enforce terms, and comply with law.
- Measure and improve reliability using necessary operational records. Any optional analytics requires a separate decision and appropriate consent controls before launch.
4. Uploaded images and AI processing
Submitted images may be transmitted to SaveHawk infrastructure and a configured AI provider to fulfill your request. AI systems may infer or reproduce information visible in an image and can make mistakes.
Before release, SaveHawk must publish the active AI provider or providers, whether images are stored, the retention period, processing locations, and whether provider terms permit use for model training. Until those facts are confirmed, users should not submit sensitive or confidential content.
5. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be disclosed to providers that perform hosting, authentication, database, AI processing, payments, communications, security, observability, and customer-support functions under applicable contractual restrictions.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a properly structured business transaction, or at your direction. SaveHawk does not intend to sell personal information for money. Any activity treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law must be disclosed with the required opt-out before it begins.
6. Retention
Personal information should be retained only as long as needed for the purposes described, including account operation, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement.
Final category-specific periods for uploaded images, analysis records, accounts, transactions, logs, affiliate records, and support requests are release blockers and must be published before this notice becomes effective. Backup deletion may take additional time under documented schedules.
7. International transfers
SaveHawk is operated from the United States and may use providers in other countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country, where laws may differ.
Where required, SaveHawk will use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual addenda, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to know or access information, correct it, obtain a portable copy, delete it, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sale/sharing/targeted-advertising or profiling activities, and appeal a denied request.
Send requests to privacy@savehawk.app. SaveHawk may verify identity, request enough information to locate records, and reject or limit requests where permitted by law. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority. You may also complain to the privacy regulator in your jurisdiction.
9. Regional information
- EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: rights and legal bases described above apply as provided by local law. A representative or data protection officer will be identified if legally required.
- United States: residents of certain states may have access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, nondiscrimination, and appeal rights. SaveHawk will honor applicable browser or universal opt-out signals if legally required and technically relevant.
- Canada: you may request access or correction and challenge compliance with applicable privacy principles.
- Mexico: applicable ARCO rights may include access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition, subject to legal requirements.
10. Security
SaveHawk is designed to use technical and organizational safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, restricted credentials, logging, and managed secret storage. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
11. Adults only
SaveHawk is intended only for people aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. If SaveHawk learns that it collected a child’s information contrary to this restriction, it will take appropriate steps to delete it.
